The first time you start ACE Softphone you see an installation guide.
Start settings
This guide configures account information and audio devices.
- Server URL
- https://voice.ace.teliacompany.com
- User ID.
- Your ACE Voice user name.
- Password
- Your ACE Voice password.
Speakers
This is where you select the audio devices to be used in Speaker profile.
Use Speaker profile when you are using your computer as a speaker phone.
We recommend that you select the audio device corresponding to your computer’s speaker.
- Input audio device
- The computer microphone.
- Output audio device
- The computer speaker.
- Ringer audio device
- The computer speaker.
The ringtone used to make calls is ruled by your country settings.
Headset
This is where you select the audio devices to be used in Headset profile.
- Input audio device
- The audio device corresponding to your connected headset.
- Output audio device
- The audio device corresponding to your connected headset.
- Ringer audio device
- The computer speaker.
The ringer audio device should not be connected to headsets, as the ring signals in this case will not be heard unless you are wearing the headset.
