Administrate hunt groups
Hunt groups are used to distribute calls between users. A hunt group can consist of users from several user groups.
For administrators only.
Create a new hunt group.
- Log in to ACE Voice Web.
- In Admin view , go to Function numbers | Hunt group numbers.
- Click on Create new hunt group.
In addition to number, name and members you can make the following settings for a hunt group:
- Exclude this number from contact searches
- Shall the hunt group number be presented in directory searches?
- Hunt length
- How many users shall be hunted at an incoming call? How the calls are distributed is regulated by the Distribution logic. If no one answers, the calls move on to Fallback number.
- Call how long (seconds)
- For how long shall it ring at hunted users?
- Distribution logic
- Sequentially or parallel. Parallel means that all hunted users are called simultaneously. Ringing stops when someone answers. Sequentially means that one user at the time is called. If the first user does not answer within the time specified in "Distribute after how many seconds" it starts ringing at the next user. The first user’s telephone stops ringing when "Call how long (seconds)" has passed.
- Distribute after how many seconds
- Setting for sequential distribution logic. For how many seconds shall it ring before the next user is hunted.
- Fallback number
- Number to connect to if Search length is exceeded, or if there are no available users.
- Exclusions
- Which activities or roles exclude a user from a hunt, and whether users in call shall be excluded.
- Which phones can be used to receive calls
- Number presentation
- Shall the hunt group number, if possible, be displayed as redirecting number?
If it is not possible, which number shall be shown to the receiving party – the hunt group number or the calling party?
