Create a guide
To add a new guide:
- Select Knowledge base in the main menu.
- Select Guides in the sub menu.
- Select for which language the questions shall be created .
- Click on the Create guide button.
In the opened window you specify what is seen in the following list. Click on Next between each step.
- Header
- Enter the short question.
- Answer version
- Choose whether your answer shall be seen in all interfaces and a Default answer.
If you want the answer to exist in several version, or just in another version than standard, you add a tab for a pre-defined answer version with .
If you want to remove a tab for an extra/another answer version, you move your mouse pointer over the tab name to see the recycle bin and click on it.
- Write an answer
- Enter the answer to the question, under the tab. If the answer shall lead to supplementary questions or counter questions, you write on the other tab . If you want to use a template answer, open Options where you also can of set a pre-defined contact method, such as an email form or a pop up window for chat.
- Save
- When you are writing in a guide all changes are automatically saved in the background, as a draft. However, before you leave the guide you must, at the bottom of the page, select whether you want to Save and publish, or via the menu Set publishing period or Save as draft.
