Access number – the concept and the column
An access number is always an LTN (Local Telia Number) such as 020 or 0771 numbers, i.e. non-geographical number for free call services or services with shared cost. Access numbers are normally the DNIS, the called party’s telephone number, for the calls that are routed to a ACE solution. In the solutions where DNIS numbers are redirected to a C-number, the C number is the access number. C numbers are used where you want to route by the dialed number. If all the contact center’s numbers lead to the access number, you can, depending on which number that has been called, e.g. set different tasks and direct to different queues.
At the top of the Dialogue flows window you see a table with existing access number and their main properties:
- Active
- Seen selected if the access number is active, in use.
- Indirect
- Seen selected if the access number is indirect
- For Direct access the DNIS is the dialed telephone number.
- For Indirect access the access number is the telephone number that a regional number is redirected to. Example: the call made to the local office at number 018-11111 will directly be connected to the customer service’s access number seen in the list, 020-11111
- Access numbers
- All existing access numbers.
- Lines
- The number of reserved lines, i.e. how many callers that can be in queue at the same time.
- Flow
- The dialogue flow’s ID number. If you click on the link to a flow, the corresponding flow in the dialogue flow list below is selected.

- The ID number of the start object. If you click on the link to a start object, its flow is selected in the flow list to the left and the start object in the flow object list to the right. The start object is also opened, just as if you had clicked on it in the object list for the relevant flow.
- Description
- To the right of the access number list you see the parameter assignments that apply for the selected access number.
In the list of dialogue flows you see a receiver icon next to the flows and objects with access numbers.
